Energy Forum Program Coordinator
Jane Kliakhandler is the Energy Program coordinator for the Energy Forum at the James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy. Kliakhandler’s responsibilities include research assistance, editing and publishing, event coordination, Web site management, and member affairs. Kliakhandler has experience in the fields of economics, energy studies/consulting, finance, trading and investment management. Her research interests include energy economics and policy, alternative energy sources, environmental economics and applied econometrics, as well as financial and market aspects of global energy flows. She is fluent in English, Russian, Ukrainian and Hebrew, as well as literate in German. Kliakhandler graduated with honors from the Michigan Technological University with a M.S. in mineral economics, a fundamental and unique program among U.S. universities; her thesis was devoted to consolidation activity in the oil industry. Kliakhandler received her B.A. in economics from Tel Aviv University. |
