The Association of Rice Alumni (ARA) has awarded its top honor to Edward P. Djerejian, founding director of the Baker Institute, and Neal Lane, senior fellow in science and technology policy, for their contributions to the Rice University community.

Djerejian and Lane will receive the ARA Gold Medal, which recognizes Rice alumni, faculty, staff or friends who have rendered extraordinary service to the university.
