Janet Reno, 1938 – 2016

Janet Reno, former attorney general of the United States, passed away on Nov. 7, 2016, at age 78. Reno was the first woman to serve as the nation's attorney general, and in her eight-year tenure oversaw a number of critical legal cases in the public and private spheres.
