Robert Gardner, manager of the Economics and Energy Division of the Corporate Strategic Planning Department at Exxon Mobil Corporation, will present the company's world energy outlook to members of the Baker Institute Energy Forum. ExxonMobil’s “Outlook for Energy: A View to 2030” is a comprehensive look at long-term trends in global and regional energy demand, supply, emissions and technology. This presentation will emphasize the prognosis for energy efficiency in key sectors and countries over the next 20 years. Efficiency gains over the next two decades are expected to accelerate more than ever before, driven by higher energy costs, government mandates and regulations, and technology advances. Gains in energy efficiency through 2030 are expected to reduce global energy-demand growth by approximately 65 percent.
