In a lecture on the role of energy in the partnership between the United States and Saudi Arabia, Abdallah S. Jum'ah, president and chief executive officer of Saudi Aramco, discussed the interdependent aspects of that 70-year relationship, the ability of Saudi Arabia to expand its production capacity to meet the world's future energy demands, and the challenges of developing a talented employee base. The Baker Institute Energy Forum is embarking on a new, two-year research program on "The Role of National Oil Company in International Energy Markets." This Distinguished Lecture Series aims to provide a venue for enhanced dialogue on this important topic.
