Baker III Institute for Public Policy and the Energy and Environmental Systems Institute of Rice University presented a retrospective discussion on the lessons learned during the 2005 hurricane season and policies that are being put in place or should be put in place to minimize the impact of future severe storms in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.
