David Axe is a freelance journalist based in Columbia, S.C. His work has appeared in Wired, World Politics Review, The American Prospect and Popular Science, as well as on Voice of America and C-SPAN, among many other media outlets. He has reported from Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Chad, Congo and many other conflict zones. Axe is the author of the graphic novels “War Fix” and “War Is Boring,” as well as the forthcoming nonfiction book “From A to B.” He also blogs at www.warisboring.com.
