The workshop examines ways to engage the Iranians more effectively in a discussion of the future of nuclear power. The event also discusses ways to move the United States and Russia expeditiously into negotiation of an Agreement for Nuclear Cooperation (123 Agreement) and considers how new nuclear energy initiatives, i.e. the Global Nuclear Energy Partnership (GNEP) and the Putin initiative to establish international fuel service centers in Russia, relate to the effort to solve the nuclear problem with Iran.
