Situated at the crossroads of Europe, Asia and the Middle East, Armenia has a rich history that translates into a complex geopolitical position. Long-simmering conflicts and tense relations with neighbors in the heart of the South Caucasus historically characterize Armenia’s challenges and involve U.S. national security interests. At this Director’s Lecture Series event, His Excellency Edward Nalbandian, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia, discussed Armenia’s foreign policy and the regional situation in the Caucasus.

Director’s Lecture Series

The Director’s Lecture Series was created and endowed by Ambassador Edward P. Djerejian and Mrs. Françoise Djerejian to provide a specific forum for Baker Institute Roundtable members, faculty and students to engage in the most relevant and pressing issues we face today.
