As Congress grapples with immigration reform, border security remains a critical component of the debate. Many in Congress -- and around the country -- consider securing our southern border and effectively enforcing our immigration laws essential to reforming the U.S. immigration system. Join the Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) and Rice University's Baker Institute for a conversation at the Baker Institute on border security, its role in reform and the implications for border communities. The event is part of BPC"s Immigration Task Force, led by former Governors Haley Barbour and Ed Rendell, as well as former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Henry Cisneros.
