The Exploration of Mars and the Search for Life

No mission to Mars has ever returned with mineral samples, yet 34 meteorites found on Earth have been positively identified as coming from Mars. How can we be sure of that? Do any of these Mars meteorites contain evidence of life? How would we know if they did? Two of NASA's foremost senior research scientists, Everett K. Gibson and David S. McKay answered these questions and more in their exclusive Baker Institute Space Policy presentation.
